Cafe Paateri

The cafe can be found deep in the woods, looked over by the Koli mountain on the other side of lake Pielinen. The roots of the cafe are found in the sour dough, traditional baking and tastes of the world. The menu is changing to reflect the ingredients nature is offering in the shifting season. 
For sure you can always find hand made sweet and salty fresh baked pies and cakes.

We source as much ingredients as we can from the region. Especially berries, wild herbs, mushrooms, and fish from the Pielinen lake itself. As well as our own crafts, we work with local artesans and product makers.
